{"id":248,"date":"2016-07-28T18:32:43","date_gmt":"2016-07-28T23:32:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mattkemple.com\/?p=248"},"modified":"2016-07-28T18:32:43","modified_gmt":"2016-07-28T23:32:43","slug":"mke-moms-blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mattkemple.com\/home\/2016\/07\/mke-moms-blog\/","title":{"rendered":"MKE Moms Blog!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-250\" src=\"https:\/\/mattkemple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Milwaukee_Logo_Circle-e1441316897195-1.png\" alt=\"MKE Moms Blog\" width=\"165\" height=\"165\" \/>I had the unique opportunity to work with a fun group of women, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/milwaukee.citymomsblog.com\" target=\"_blank\">MKE Mom&#8217;s Blog<\/a>! \u00a0They are a networking group focused on events Mom&#8217;s (and sometimes dad&#8217;s!) can be adults without their kids.<\/p>\n<p>They have a great mission, &#8220;Real community \u2013 both online and off, inspiring Milwaukee Moms to love on one another regardless of age, race, economic status or otherwise, and to open a dialogue about the tough issues affecting our city. We want to become part of the solution and we believe moms can become a powerful force of change.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-251 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/mattkemple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/MKEMomsEvent20160714-275websized-600x400-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"MKEMomsEvent20160714-275websized-600x400\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I was asked to help present some comedy at the all new Enlightened Brewing Company in Bay View, WI for an event and brought members of Milwaukee improv groups The Goodlanders and Improv Limbo to perform some improv. It was a lot of fun! The performers were great and the event itself was very well organized by Laura and Sarah of MKE Mom&#8217;s.
